The Phantom Stagecoach
NEW DRAMA FOR THE SUMMER TERM!
The year: 1880
The town: Dead Eye in South Dakota, USA.
The place: a newly built railway station.
The townsfolk have put on their finest clothes, hung out the flags, and hired Buffalo Bill’s Cowboy Band to celebrate the arrival of the first train from Washington DC on its way to Chicago. But the good, bad and the downright ugly who have gathered are about to get quite a surprise… the locomotive just went cruising on by, leaving the whole of the town in shock and downright disappointment. Over the next few nights Dead Eye is woken up way past midnight by the sound of clattering hooves. It certainly sounded like there was something out there but no-one could see a thing until…gulp! Plot spoiler alert!
Are these strange events a warning, an act of revenge, or a premonition of things that will come to pass. Come along and find out!
At 4.45pm – 5.45pm at The Merlin Theatre on Monday 25th April 2022 for 10 weeks (excluding 2nd May Bank Holiday and half term). Final session Monday 11th July 2022.
NB We will not be running the club on the last Monday of the Summer term.

A BIT MORE ABOUT US…
At DK we follow the mantra ‘Just Be’. For us this encompasses the idea that all students will be accepted for what they are. It also provides a strong link to well-being. We aim to help our students achieve mental stillness and awareness of self and others within the workshop space and stage in order to help them develop their improvisation skills.
DK classes involve collaborative improvisation, intrigue and problem solving. The student is at the heart of everything we do and we see it as our mission to help to individuals to find their own voice by being enabled to work without inhibition in a safe environment in which their ideas are given prominence and shape.
We also engender effective team building through the vehicle of drama/theatre and the immersive approach we take. We are developing links with Fair Frome and local schools, offering assisted places in order to reach out to members of the community who may have less experience of drama and theatre.
